About

What does Samatapheap Khnom mean?

Samatapheap Khnom (សមត្ថភាពខ្ញុំ) is Khmer for “my capacity.” The name reflects the belief that families already hold the capability to change their own circumstances, and that our job is to support that capacity rather than replace it.

Samatapheap Khnom Organization (SKO) is a Cambodian local NGO supporting vulnerable families, children and communities in Phnom Penh's urban poor and migrant communities since 2007. SKO is recognized as Cambodia's leading expert in family care and social work.
